Handwritten record covering the years of 1867 to 1917. Includes information on the formation of the LDS Church Sunday School program in Box Elder County, and a history of the Box Elder Stake Sunday School organization, leadership, classes, activities, etc. In addition, there are records of 26 different wards, which include when each ward Sunday School was started, leadership changes, activities, and finances. Also included are accounts of the Box Elder Tabernacle fire and the "great Mile Creek flood" of 1896.

Box Elder County was first settled in 1851, with settlements at Brigham City and Willard. The county was formally organized in 1856, with land that had previously been part of Weber County. The first LDS Church Sunday School in Box Elder was organized in 1867 in the Brigham City Courthouse.
